Brandon's Dad is a photographer. He took this pictures of our very cute son. There are a lot more and he is going to take even more when the leaves start turning colors. Now the hard part, picking my favorites.

NOTE TO SELF: Never leave John alone in a Halloween store with young impressionable minds. Especially if he has a camera phone!

If I wasn 't laughing so hard I think that I would cry.

For a week i am going to keep track of this crazy boy we call Trey. That way if i ever loss my mind and decided to go for number six I will remember what two and a half year old's are like and hopefully change my mind. Now that we are going through it with Christopher I remember the other children at two and a half. The problem is that they are they are just so darn cute when they are being so darn bad. I know a few other out there who have one of these very same little beings in there home right now. Before I had children i never thought that I would have to tell someone so many times a day to get off their little sisters head.Poor baby Brie.In the picture above are rubber ducks floating in the dogs water dish.He is missing his clothes because he already had to have a bath. One of the other kids left the peanut butter jar on the table and Christopher decided to stick his arm in it up to his elbow. He then proceded to lick the peanut butter off his arm. After he had a chocolate chip cookie he had chocolate all over his face and hands. I told him to hold on while I went and got something to wash him up.The next thing I knew he came out of the kitchen clean. He was very happy about his accomplishment. I was impressed too until I found out that he had cleaned off all the chocolate on his face and hands in the dogs water, gross! Surgery update below

Surgery date

October 28th
It may be moved sooner if they can find a spot for him.One of the doctors is apparently in high demand and is pretty much booked for a while. Christopher would be truly bummed if he knew that he was going to be in the hospital for his favorite holiday, HALLOWEEN. Candy, candy and more candy and he will not be eating for about a week. When he gets out we will have to get him enough candy to give him a sugar rush.I will update if we get a change.

How can someone this cute be this bad? The first picture is of Christopher pretending to shave with John. And the second picture is of the paint Trey spilt all over the carpet. It has been one of those weeks. In one day he poured Cajun spice into the dogs bowl.(the whole bottle) Later the same day he hid behind the couch with some lotion that he swiped and was putting it all over himself. When I caught him He told me "lotion mell good!"Still the same day he stole my painters tape(which is not cheap) and was unwrapping it. I need a nap or some duct tape.

The poor bug!

Brandon was not home when the storm hit but his precious bug was.We sent these pics to him and informed him that his bug had been hit by the neighbors falling tree and a window was broken.Little did he know that John was putting the limb on his bug and not taking it off.The joke went better then I thought and the boy was trippin out.He kept calling every five min. to ask another question. At one point I told John that we may need to throw a limb through the window just so that he would not be tick at us for messing with him. When he got home he said that he analysed the pictures we sent and knew that we were messing with him. Sure you did son, was that after you called the national guard to protect your car from vandals.

Hurricane in Ohio? day 1

The winds hit when we were in church and by the time we got home trees were blowing everywhere and the electricity was out. The kids had never seen anything like it before and were fascinated by the whole thing. As you can see by the pictures they were not afraid. We all stayed on the porch for a long time just watching the winds blow. And they blew and blew. Tree's were falling, leaves were blowing and my kids wanted to be out there in the middle of all of it.

first day for Trey

Christopher had his first day of preschool today. We have been talking it up for a long time but when the day came he was still a little unsure about the whole thing. Due to all of his health issues he has not really been away from us.The preschool is set up for little guys just like Christopher.

He was really sad when I left so Brie and I hung around the school to make sure that he would be ok. (Brie found a cute little chubby baby in a mirror that she really liked.) We waited in the lobby for about a half an hour and then we hung out in the car for another 15 min. You would never guess that I have already had three children before him to go to school. I love this school and I hope that he will too.

Ryann is playing volleyball this year. She had her first game this Saturday. She is tall and thin so she looks the part. She is playing on a league that teaches them how to play and next year she plans to play for her middle school. GO RYANN!

Silly Christopher

I just felt like blogging about Trey today. That kid just makes me laugh. The first picture is of Trey's fortune out of a fortune cookie. As you can see he ate part of it before he realized that it was in there. He was pretty disgusted that someone put paper in his cookie.

The second picture is of Trey in a time out. This is his official time out spot because he can't get down. Hey, whatever works.

The last two pictures are just of Trey helping to make banana bread. He was so happy to be able to help but it made him really sad that it took 45min to cook. He kept checking the oven every few min. to see if it was done. He squealed with delight when the timer went off.( doesn't everyone cook topless or is that just in our house?)

Now that's a bug

We were out and about yesterday when we saw this praying mantis. It was so cool. I have never seen a real one before. Alex and I checked it out for a long time and it checked us out. They are almost dog like the way they turn their head and look at you.Of course Alex wanted to take it home for a pet but when it tried to fly at me I took that as an aggressive move so he stayed where he was.

WOW!!!!!

We decided to redo Ryann's room so that it would be ready for us to sell our house. I have been watching a lot of the home improvement shows on tv so I had a lovely vision in my head of what the room would end up looking like in the end. Ry picked out a new comforter set and we went to home depot to get the paint. She picked a color and we bought a small can to paint one wall to see how it would look.I was unsure if the color would be to dark but it looked really cute. One problem was it didn't totally match the comforter so I tried to match it up with the comforter a little more. I tried to stay with in the same hue(John said that is that right word) This time I just got a big can because I thought that it was not that different. My first clue that maybe this was not going to work the was way it looked in my head is when the homey depot guy gave me the paint he said have fun with your fluorescent green paint. Ok in my defense this was not what the color looked like in the store. And yes we painted the whole room because I was hoping that it would lighten when it dried, yea no such luck. I would of kept it if we were staying but we are not so I had to repaint. I will post pictures when we are done.
