Santa B

Brie and Christopher got into some of my keepsake baby clothes. Christopher helped Brie into this little outfit. The last time that Brie wore this she was 2 weeks old.

Christopher the Circus act

Christopher is my little climber/ monkey man. His latest thing is that he tries to do hand/head stands all of the time. I can't help but to smile and be amazed at this little guy whom we were told may never sit up or be able to walk on his own.He is an amazing little dude with a very strong will and strong very arms.

Las Vegas NM

Mom and I were headed to Santa Fe one day and we passed our exits. We were too busy talking and by the time we realized it we were not far from Las Vegas, which is a really cool old town. I has happy to take Mom there, I love that place. There is a really cool old hotel that use to be a Harvey House and hotel. A lot of it looks like it has not been remodeled in about 100 years. Plus we found a really cool bakery/cafe were we had lunch.

The Mormon Battalion monument

On our way to Santa Fe we always pass this sign that says says Mormon Battalion Monument. So Of course Mom and I had to check it out. It was right off the side of the road. We have passed it many times but never knew that it was right there. Pretty cool to know that they passed through here.

John's Mom came to visit at the end of August for a week. We always have fun together and like to go explore NM when she is here. Brie and Christopher get to go with us since they are not in school full time yet. We went to a little beach not too far from our home.

At first the Brie and Christopher were just throwing rocks in the lake.


But before too long they were soaking wet and loving it!

We had to dry their clothes in the sun.


They had so much fun running around on the beach. They looked like they were on Survivor. Christoper did not have dry clothes with us so he ran around in his pull up. And I will have to say that he reminded me of an albino pigmy. They were running around gathering different things on the beach to make a shelter.

We look forward to the Purples return at the end of next month.

First Day of school 2010

Alex on his way to his first day in 4th grade. His teacher's name is Mrs Pink. PINK rocks so hopefully she does too. So far Alex thinks he has the best teacher!


Ryann started her last year of Middle school.8th grade came really fast!
