Christmas 09

On Christmas Eve we sang Christomas carols together and read a a book about the first Christmas. The kids were very excited for the next day when they went to bed. After Christopher was but to bed he came out every time that he heard a noise to see if it was Santa.




We had a wonderful Christmas day together as a family. Brie however was a little over whelmed and spent most of her day trying to get everyone else' s new stuff.

Thanksgiving

My camera decided to give me trouble during Thanksgiving time. But I wanted to still have a post about Our wonderful Thanksgiving. This was our first year being away from family so John's brother,Ryan and his wife Michelle came to our home from Arizona. We had a great time together and had some great food. John made his first turkey this year and did a wonderful job. We are so glad that they were able to come and spend time with us.

Birthday's

Christopher turned 4 on November 25. He got to have his first party with friends and I am sure that you can guess the theme.He had a great time but it is hard to believe that he is already four.





Miss Brie turned 2 on December 16. She was so happy to get babies and cake.


I am so grateful for these two little bundles of endless energy. They help me to get through those hard times in life.

Pumpkin carving

Christopher really got into carving his pumpkin this year.

We waited until Halloween Day to carve pumpkins so that Purple Grandma could be here with us.

Trick or Treat

Brie is a monkey with tutu( Ryann thought she needed it),Christopher is Nemo, Alex is Darth Vader,and Ryann is Alex from Wizards of Place

Christopher liked to ride in the wagon like this so that he could jump out first. I hit a bump one time and heard his candy pumpkin hit the ground. When I turned around Christopher was sitting on the sidewalk looking at me like I tried to bump him out of the wagon.

Snow in Santa Fe

We headed up to the Santa Fe mountains yesterday to do some hiking. We could see that there was snow on the top so we had to go check it out. It was very beautiful and it was surprisingly warm, 60 and sunny.

Pumpkin Patch

We found a really cool little pumpkin patch and corn maze near our home.This made me very happy because I was not sure that we would have one in NM.

We were in this maze for awhile and Christopher was having fun leading us. When we finally ended up in the pumpkin patch.

After picking our pumpkins we hopped on the wagon for a hay ride.

The kids loved climbing the bails of hay and checking out the baby farm animals.
